My name is Ethan Feil and I am New York City based lighting designer from Washington, DC.

 

Primarily working in theater and dance, I love working with artists to create total works of art where every facet of the performance works towards a cohesive expression. In my design, I aim to empower performance's unique ability to articulate the world beyond words, helping us visualize what language cannot capture.

In my free time, I am a dedicated reader and enjoy everything from fiction, to history, to philosophy. I love any and all art that is abstract, and I love love love music, especially when it's unlike anything I've heard before.

 

Making theater is a joyous practice, so in the room, I hope to create a space where everyone can get involved. When everyone's voice is heard, worlds of enchantment can come alive!
